Independence Day and STL250 converge on Forest Park for America's Biggest Birthday Party featuring The Band Perry. The grounds that once hosted the 1904 World's Fair will once again welcome fairgoers from near and far.
Thanks to the generous support of presenting sponsor Anheuser-Busch InBev, platinum sponsors Edward Jones, Enterprise Rent-A-Car and Nestle Purina, all Fair Saint Louis shows will be presented to the community for free and will be open to all ages.
The Neighbourhood broke out with hit singles “Sweater Weather” and “Afraid” from their debut album I Love You. “Sweater Weather,” which Billboard described as “deeply compelling,” was recently certified platinum by the RIAA for sales in excess of 1 million units and had one of the longest runs on the 2013 radio charts. The song was also praised by Rolling Stone, which noted “Layering hasn’t sounded this cool since ‘The Sweater Song.’” Follow up single “Afraid,” praised by Billboard for its “edgy, subtle hooks,”is seeing similar success, currently sitting in the top 5 at Alternative Radio. Additionally, over the holidays, the band released two new tracks for their fans, “Unfair” and “Silver” from the upcoming #000000 & #FFFFFF project.
The group completed a sold-out nationwide headline tour in fall/winter 2013. Most recently, the band spent February touring the UK with The 1975.
