Pink's Husband Carey Hart Sends Warning To California Wildfire Looters

Pink's husband Carey Hart has a caution for looters looking to ransack his neighborhood amid the California wildfires.

Evacuation orders in Southern California have left many homes vacant as a result of the Woolsey Fire, including the married couple, who were forced to leave their beachside residence in Malibu as the fires continue to swell.

As a result, the abandoned houses have become vulnerable to theft by cowardly criminals. The motorcycle racer isn't standing for it and warned any looter who steps foot in his neighborhood will be gunned down.

"It’s unfortunate that some people take advantage of others in a crisis. While the malibu fires have been burning, some locals have been fighting off and defending their property against the fires," the 43-year-old wrote via Instagram Tuesday (November 12), alongside an image showing masked gunmen holding up a sign that reads, "Looters will be shot on site."

"There have been sightings of looters breaking into homes," Hart writes, adding, "if you are a looter, think twice if you are heading back into malibu. #DefendYourLand #2ndamendment."

According to KTLA, nearly 600 Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department deputies have been dispatched on looter patrol in evacuated areas as of Monday (November 12).

In related news, actress-model Ireland Baldwin claimed an officer accused her of being a looter when she was denied access to her Malibu property during the evacuation this weekend.

California firefighters are still working to contain the blaze, which has since consumed homes belonging to celebrities like Gerard Butler, Miley Cyrus, and Robin Thicke.
