Sorry to all the High School Musical fans hoping Vanessa Hudgens would reunite with Zac Efron following her split from Austin Butler. Though Vanessa may be single and ready to mingle, Zac is reportedly now dating Halston Sage. The pair have been friends for a while and were even rumored to be dating back in 2014. After a few years apart, however, it looks like Zac and Halston are giving love another shot.
According to an Us Weekly source, Zac recently split from Danish Olympic swimmer Sarah Bro after less than a year of dating. “The relationship just wasn’t working out,” the source explained. “She came back to L.A., and it never got going again.” After his breakup, Zac reportedly reconnected with Halston and things got serious between them pretty quickly.
Us’s source revealed Zac and Halston “are in a serious relationship and in love.” The new couple spent a lot of time together towards the end of 2019, including the holidays. “They spent the holidays together, with part of that time in Santa Barbara,” the source added.
Zac and Halston met while filming the comedy film Neighbors together. After attending a Lakers game together in L.A., E! News reported they were a couple. “They are definitely an item,” a source told E! at the time. “They were seeing each other a bit during filming of their movie together, and ever since he went to rehab, they got a lot closer. Her friends love him and say he is so sweet. He’s really good to her.”
Neither Zac or Halston has confirmed their relationship, though fans have spotted them regularly liking each other's posts on Instagram. We'll just have to wait and see if they make their romance IG official by posting on their grids.
