Kate Middleton Gives Rare Glimpse Inside Her Kensington Palace Home

Home sweet home!

During a virtual event on Tuesday (November 10), Kate Middleton gave royal watchers a rare glimpse into Kensington Palace. The London-based palace is where the Duchess of Cambridge resides with her husband, Prince William, and their three children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis.

A number of family photos can be seen in the background of images from the call released by the palace. Adorable photos of Prince George and Princess Charlotte on their first days of school were spotted alongside a photo of William during 2018 solo trip to Africa. Kate's own photography, including George's 7th birthday portrait, was on display, as well.

Some of the Cambridge family's decor could be seen, as well, including bright red sofa pillows, a pair of paintings on the wall and blue vases placed behind he couch.

Kate spoke with families of the British Armed Forces in honor of Remembrance Week. “It’s been a real honor to speak with you,” she said during the call. “I speak for the whole nation when I say how proud you should be of your loved ones for their sacrifice and the bravery that they’ve shown. I’ll certainly be thinking of you this difficult week and many years to come. So thank you so much.”

Kensington Palace released a video from the event on Instagram, as well, writing: “The Duchess of Cambridge spoke to Armed Forces families who have lost loved ones to hear about the impact that #Remembrance week has for them. Together they spoke about the support that they receive from members of the Armed Forces community, including other bereaved families, and from the Royal British Legion."
