Harry Styles Lookalike Facing Serious Charges In Pennsylvania

A local man who bears a resemblance to pop star Harry Styles is accused of participating in an armed robbery in Pennsylvania last month.

Jason Z. Sanderlin, 21, of Altoona, faces multiple charges including felony counts of robbery, conspiracy, aggravated assault and criminal trespass, as well as misdemeanor counts that include false imprisonment, indecent assault and terroristic threats, WTAJ reports via WPXI.

Local authorities said Sanderlin kicked down the door of an apartment in Tyrone and pulled out an automatic rifle while ordering three people to get on the ground during the morning of January 21, according to charges filed by the state obtained by WTAJ.

The 21-year-old then reportedly hit a woman over the head with the gun and grabbed her breasts while binding her with zip ties as she attempted to fight him off and they struggled over the gun on the floor after she grabbed it to defend herself.

The 5'3" woman told Pennsylvania troopers that the suspect was about her height or slightly taller, which matched a description of Sanderlin, who is listed as 5'4," according to court records.

Sanderlin's longtime girlfriend identified him as the robber who brandished the rifle after watching surveillance footage provided by a male victim, who police said was robbed of 1/4 pound of marijuana and $400 cash in a separate incident in which suspects showed up at his apartment a few days after the previous robbery took place.

State police accused Sanderlin of posting a Snapchat video immediately after the robbery occurred, which showed him with the marijuana and the victim said he was contacted by a friend who claimed Sanderlin was then selling the marijuana, WTAJ reports.

The victim told state police that the bulk marijuana shown in Sanderlin's Snapchat video looked similar to the marijuana stolen from him.

Sanderlin is also reportedly accused of helping his girlfriend, Emily Eirhart, 19, rob a woman near Gospel Hill last October and faces charges of robbery and aggravated assault for that incident as well.

Pennsylvania troopers have not confirmed whether Sanderlin's accomplice in the January 21 incident has been identified as of Wednesday (February 3) afternoon.

Sanderlin is being held in jail on a $200,000 bond for the Tyrone robbery case and $50,000 in the Altoona case.
