Taylor Swift has fans everywhere you look, including within Hollywood as even some of the biggest stars are revealing themselves to be Swifties. The latest on the list is none other than Michael Scott himself Steve Carell.

The Office star stopped by The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Monday (June 10) where he shared a story about the time he briefly met the "Fortnight" singer early on in their respective careers after host Jimmy Fallon asked him about being "a Taylor Swift fan," per People. While they may not have had a long conversation, Carell was left with the feeling that the "very sweet" Swift was something "special."

"Remember TRL, way, way back. So early on in my career and in hers too, I was obviously much older, but we were both on TRL at the same time," he said. "I met her sort of in passing and I thought, 'Boy is she, she seems special,' like even back then. Very sweet, very nice. Just had a really nice first impression."

His initial feelings on The Tortured Poets Department musician were strengthened years later when he saw a video of Swift playing guitar for a patient in the hospital, saying that it was "so cool and not publicized" and that she was "just leading with her heart."

"Some kid who was recovering from something. There was no big crew. It was like a really low-keyed, handheld thing that she sort of just did on the sly," he said, adding, "I thought, 'Okay, I'm a fan,' I am going to root for that person."
