Halsey is getting ready to walk down the aisle and sharing some of the "sweet" details about the "special" way Avan Jogia proposed.

During the Wednesday (October 30) episode of the Call Her Daddy podcast, the "Ego" singer opened up to host Alex Cooper about the big moment when Jogia popped the question while in Barcelona, a city with a significant connection to the start of their relationship, per People.

"It's kind of like where we first started hanging out, so it's really special to us," they said. "I wasn't sure that I was ready, but I was also kind of like, 'You're literally the most amazing, smartest, hottest, nicest person I've ever met in my life, so don't go anywhere.' I'm trying to figure it out."

However, the couple didn't have long to celebrate being newly engaged as the Victorious alum had to spent several months away for work.

"It was really sweet," Halsey said of the proposal. "Immediately afterward, [he] left to go shoot a show for like six months in Canada. Like 'OK, bye.' We haven't really had like the chance to be like 'engaged,' but he's coming home, and I think we're gonna get to have our time then."

The Great Impersonator musician also admitted they were never really interested in the idea of marriage until meeting their now-fiancé.

"I was like, well, if you love each other, then just be together... I didn't understand it. And then, I don't know, it was just something with him where I just knew I wanted to marry him," Halsey said, adding, "Because I do. I love him in such a way that I feel like we would be just as fine if we didn't [get marred]. But something about that makes me wanna do it more."

Halsey and Jogia have been linked since since September 2023, and sparked engagement rumors earlier this year during a PDA-packed picnic where she was seen wearing a "massive" ring on her left ring finger. The "Lucky" singer confirmed last month that they are preparing to say "I do."
