ID# A1662937 – Chewy is a 7 year old, Brindle, Dutch Shepherd mix. Chewy is a special guy with many amazing qualities to offer. He is very kind, gentle and sweet. He is a good boy in his kennel and when it is time to go for a walk, he is easy to put on a leash and takes full advantage of enjoying a nice leisurely walk. Chewy does well with car rides, he does not seem to mind them and he tolerates dogs that are not too high energy. This Friday is last day of our social media outreach to help raise money for animals in the shelter. Clark’s Pet Emporium generously offering to donate $1 for each new Facebook “like” up to $5,000 dollars between January 31 and February 14 to Albuquerque Animal Welfare.

Starting today, we are launching our Be My Valentine Foster Event at the Eastside and Westside shelter. From Today, (2/12) thru Sunday, (2/16), interested families can stop by the Admission desk at either shelter, browse through the binder of recommended Foster Pets, complete an interaction with Animal Handling, then sign the foster agreement paperwork and keep that pet for some extra love this weekend!
