What Lady really needs is someone who is willing to put the time and effort into training her with good manners. Lady has often showed that she can be a very good girl and appreciates the encouragement and praise. All Lady really wants is petting and affection. AWD is continuing with appointment-only adoptions in an effort to continue with its mission to save animal lives and also comply with social distancing recommendations. Anyone wanting to adopt a pet is asked to visit www.cabq.gov/pets to see available pets and to call 311 to schedule an adoption appointment.
All adoptions will take place at AWD’s Eastside and Westside facilities.
