Edge Snow Report: Final Weekend In NM With Fun Events

This is the final weekend in New Mexico. Pajarito and Sipapu have fun events for their final weekends. After this weekend Purgatory will be open Fridays through Sundays until the end of April.

Notes: It’s the end of the seasons 80s party on Saturday, April 13. Grad your neon and legwarmers! It's time to hit the thrift shop for your best 80s throwback gear to close out an incredible season at Pajarito. There will be a awesome 80s costume contest. There will be music and pours from Bathtub Row, food in the cafe, plus a costume contest with prizes for the best throwback gear.

Notes: Open Friday through Sunday through April 14. With every lift ticket purchase, they're giving you $10 in resort credit to use at the cafe or the store. This weekend, it’s the corniest days ever! Why corn? Because of corn snow, of course. That perfect blend of large crystal snow that forms from the thaw freeze cycle only in Spring. OpenSnow has it second only to powder in fun! They’ll be celebrating with corn costumes, popcorn, corn hole, corn chips, plus Blue Corn Lager on tap!

Closed for the winter season. Summer season begins in May. After 30 seasons, the Copper Chair will be replaced with a new 6 million dollar triple chair built by Doppelmayr. The new chair will open for the 24/25 season, offering better efficiency for guests. The new chair will retain the name Copper Chair, keeping its legacy alive.

Notes: It’s another “Fun Fund” week where each lift ticket purchased online at least 24 hours in advance earns $20 in resort credit. Scheduled end of daily operations is April 14. This Sunday it’s the pond skim contest on Purgy’s Beach. The mountain will be open Friday - Sunday April 19-21 and 26-28. The final day of Friday-Sunday operations is Sunday, April 28 (weather and snow conditions permitting).
