There are three approaches guys in Philly take to sliding into your DM's. I'm here to reveal the motivation behind them and let you know what to expect if you continue to engage with them. Hopefully I'll save you a lot of time and energy.
- The "Ball is in your court now" strategy: This is when a guy does as little work as humanly possible in an attempt to get you to take control of the conversation. These messages will normally be a "Hey" sent over and over again if you don't respond. If you do respond, look out - the conversation doesn't get much better from here
- The "Full-Court Press" strategy: He'll start with a compliment, typically about your looks, then try to get you on a date as soon as possible. Watch out for these guys. They are doing this exact same thing to just about everyone.
- The "Story-reacting" strategy: This is actually the most normal, these guys will try to start a conversation based on something you posted. At least they are trying to put some thought into it and not just sending you a generic message.
