Lil Nas X has certainly come a long way from making Tik Tok videos. The 19-year-old is still reeling from the high of his #1 charted song, “Old Town Road Remix” and now he can add a Madonna collaboration to new things to flip out over.
Page Six recently reported that Lil Nas X visited Madonna during her Madame X show in Los Angeles where they split a beer and sang a snippet of Old Town Road.
“If I drink this, I’d be getting some of your backwash?” A source reported Madonna saying to Lil Nas X.
“Kinda sharp, your backwash. Might cut my tongue,” she continued.
The two then discussed the possibility of the 19-year-old visiting Madonna's farm to get more inspiration for a new hit song.
“I expect you to show up to my horse farm. I’m going to show you what to do with a horse for real … And then we can make a song about chickens, because I’ve got chickens, too.”
Madonna isn't the only artist looking to collab. Billy Ray Cyrus and Lil Nas X are expected to team up again with more hits.
According to reports from the Wisconsin Gazette, the previous collaborators have a lot more up their sleeve - an original track, to be specific. After the viral sensation of the Old Town Road Remix, many fans have requested that Lil’ Nas X bring back Cyrus’ 1992 hit song, Achy Breaky Heart, with his own remixed spin.
The 20-year-old, Lil’ Nas X, said that he would be open to the possibility, however right now is not the time.
"I've been getting that a lot. I'm down. But we're going to make something original, I think, next."
