Dry January Ends Just in Time for our Wine and Spirits in the Winter

2020 was the first year I've done Dry January and I can't believe I've actually made it to the end!!

I mean seriously has anyone else felt like this?

January 2020

With that being said, I am really proud of myself for sticking to this challenge. If you know me, you know I'm about my alcohol. Ray Gee is basically synonymous with party LOL. But really, coming home and unwinding from the day with some wine is something I enjoy. If I go out to eat, I like to have an adult beverage (or two) with my meal, and of course I enjoy going out on the weekends. But I wanted to start this year off on a fresh note. Get a good start on my fitness, make healthy choices and really test my discipline.

Now what better way to end my temporary sobriety than with 100+ wine, beer and spirits!

Our event is happening February 8, from 4 pm to 8 pm at The Last Hotel which is beautiful, historical and has a great rooftop view.

I am a wine and whiskey gal.

My favorite kind of wines are pinot grigo's, sauvignon blanc's, pinot noir's and red blends.

My go-to whiskey is Jameson on a night out or for a mixed drink, but if I'm drinking whiskey on the rocks i'll normally confab with my Dad who has built quite the bourbon collection! Two I've tried that I really enjoy are Jefferson's and 1792 small batch.

This is why I love these tasting events though. The opportunity to try different types of wines/spirits and maybe finding a new favorite is so fun to me! And I'm almost always down to dress up and mingle.

You'll find me next Saturday roaming around the different tables but also definitely checking out the whiskey room and the bubbly room.

If that sounds like your ideal Saturday night, tickets are still on sale! Just click the picture below, grab your tickets and we'll see you Saturday for an evening you won't forget! Unless you hit those tastings a little too hard....
