Today is National Girlfriends Day. There is some dispute about whether this is a day to celebrate your significant other who is female or if its to celebrate your friendship's with your female friends! As i'm not in a relationship, I will take this day to be a celebration of my female friends!!! Michelle Obama feels the same way and sent out an excellent tweet on the matter today.
Isn't it great. There are so many things in this world that can bring us down, it's so important to uplift each other and celebrate our wins with each other. And surround yourself with people that are invested in your growth and not there to stunts your growth. Be a cheerleader for your besties and choose those that are in YOUR cheering section. There are probably a million friend quotes, find one and send it to you best girlfriend's today. And invite them for a righteous happy hour!
