'Fixer Upper' Homeowners Say They Were "Deceived"

I love Fixer Upper! I'd say its one of my guilty pleasures...but I have zero guilt about watching it, and I don't try to hide it. I even have a Magnolia shirt!

This family is definitely up to no good!

Ken and Kelly Downs family were featured in the Season 3 of Fixer Upper

“We purchased our home in Waco because of the incredible opportunity given to us to work with Chip and Joanna Gaines of Magnolia Homes,"

They've been living in their home about a year and a half. They rent it out as an AirBNB and are not currently trying to sell it, nor have they put it on the market while living there!

Recently, a suspected drunk driver crashed through their house...and now the Downses said they’ve experienced nothing but trouble since they moved into their North Waco neighborhood and told the Waco-Tribune Herald they’re not sure if they want to repair their house, or sell it.

“It’s like the Wild West here. There’s been a lot of commotion coming from the bars and the store across the street,” Kelly said in an interview with the Waco-Tribune Herald. “It’s been a problem from the beginning. We’ve lived here a year and a half and we feel deceived by the city of Waco and Magnolia Realty.”

I'm positive that Chip and Joanna didn't force them to buy this house in this neighborhood...and why haven't they tried to move until now?
