I got home Sunday evening after one of the craziest experiences of my life! Growing up watching Ninja Warrior on G4, I honestly never imagined I’d ever be able to run the course. I feel so honored to be apart of the 10th season! The first episode of American Ninja Warrior will air tomorrow night (Wednesday, May 30th) on NBC; Minneapolis Qualifiers is July 2nd! I can't say how I did, you'll just have to tune in and see for yourself!
On the way to Minneapolis, I had to make a pit stop in KC to see my cardiologist. A week before I was supposed to run the course, I found out I had to get a note saying I was okay to compete! I was a little worried because it was down to the wire, but everything worked out!
All the ninjas showed up to US Bank Stadium on Thursday to film interviews and B-Roll.
Thursday night, I stopped by Obstacle Academy in Edina, MN to get some last minute training in...and to burn off some nerves!
It all began Friday night! The show is filmed overnight, which means the first ninjas didn't start hitting the course until about 9:30pm
I ran the course shortly after 3:00am...and filming for night 1 was wrapped up at about 5:00am!
It was 4 days of nothing but Ninja Warrior and I had the time of my life! I met so many amazing people and new friends. Again, at this point I can't say anything about the results. I also don't know if I'll even be featured on TV, but I'll keep you updated!
