Brendan Dassey was convicted of murder and rape and 16 years old, and sentenced to life. According investigators and the court, Brendan helped his uncle in the murder of Teresa Halbach.
Many believe Brendan's innocents after the case was featured in the Netflix documentary, Making A Murderer.
Supreme Court declines to take the case of a teenager convicted of rape and murder whose story was documented in Netflix's "Making a Murderer:"https://t.co/fgDckdSl8Z— AP Politics (@AP_Politics) June 25, 2018
It has been unveiled however, that the documentary left out some key details in the case. Because of this, there are some who believe that justice has been properly served.
It should be common knowledge by now that 'Making A Murderer' omitted some extremely important details. Steven Avery is a monster and guilty as hell. And if they didn't frame Avery, as the doc claims, I don't think they framed Dassey. https://t.co/M74IFbvMGQ— Matt Walsh (@MattWalshBlog) June 25, 2018
The documentary is extremely interesting and binge-worthy! If you haven't seen it yet, you've got to watch it!
After watching the documentary and learning more after, I'm not convinced Brendan is guilty. The big question mark is his uncle, Steven. The documentary pushes strongly that both Brendan and Steven are innocent.
My personal thoughts: Brendan is innocent, but Steven could have been involved somehow...
Just go watch it already.
