Fans of Rick and Morty (including me) have been treated to a surprise animated short from the showrunners while eagerly waiting for the new season to come out in September.
The animated short, is short, but shows what looks like an egg in Rick's science lab. The egg does resemble the egg for Yoshi in the Mario Brothers, so Rick and Morty fans are dabbling in the idea that Yoshi may be the antagonist to Rick and Morty in the new season.
Not likely, but fans have began to dive into what the short animated film means. The film leads fans to the RickandMorty.com website where a countdown to Wormageddon is being held. What do you think the countdown is for? You can watch the animated short HERE
